I have over seven years working experience in delivering Information Technology services, with experience in a wide range of areas desktop PC support, service support, system administrator and developer.
I am currently looking to continue web development as a programmer so I can continue working in this area of interest.

Prototype Engineer
Racing Card Derby Project
Period: Contract employment from September 2007 to December 2007.
Racing Card Derby Project was the prototype for a horse racing themed table game concept targeting the Gaming industry. This role assisted in research, testing and problem solving in electronics and construction of the project.

Coles Group IT provides IT services and support to the retail brands of the company. This role provides second level support and high level administration for Intranet Portal to content publishers and users.
Responsibilities:
- Administrating IBM Websphere portal, IBM Workplace Web content management, and Verity K2 for Connect Portal service.
- LDAP group administration for Web content access control.
- Providing user and author support for Connect Intranet Portal.
- Worked on Portal upgrade project maintaining content integrity.

Registration and Authentication Services Administrator and Developer

Period: Permanent employment from September 2002 to February 2007.
The Information Technology Services Division provides the centralised IT services to support the University's key business. The role is focused on the administration and support of the centralised identity management system and extending its usage through development of registration and administration web services, deployment of supplementary services and providing expertise on authentication to other services.
Responsibilities:
- Administrating identity management systems, consisting of 5 dedicated Sun One (LDAP) Directory servers, an Apache Web server, a centralised user data processing server, a Digital certificate management server, as well as additional Directory servers dedicated to specific services.
- Developing services to extend Identity management systems, includes of web interfaces for decentralised user administration, integration with various data sources, and work on projects predominantly in object orientated Perl.
- Providing expertise in authentication and identity management to customers, front line support, IT projects and other departments.
- Implementation of a hybrid directory service, enabling restricted Monash services to external customers.
- Successful deployment of internal Digital Certificates for secure server communication and email signing. Subsequent server upgrade project.
- Successful integration of "RightNow" knowledge base with Directory service on "ask.monash" project.
- Client services customer service outstanding team award in 2004 for work on Internet billing and quota management system project.
- Optimised data processing programs allowing quicker propagation of changes and ensuring better data integrity.
- Identified problems and restructured development practices for the team improving maintainability, which resulted in faster code deployment to production.
